Laura Pryzby, tenor saxophone, received a Bachelor of Music degree in Arts Management and Saxophone Performance from Northwestern University. Her primary teachers have included Frederick Hemke and Paul Bro from Northwestern and Lisa Parent and Miles Osland of the Eastman School of Music. Among her many honors received is the 1991 Musicians Club of Women Farwell Award. She has performed in recitals as a soloist and with chamber ensembles throughout Chicago and New England, and also as a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Laura has been on the administrative staff of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra since 1991 and recently completed her Master's in Management degree from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
